We Did It !!!

Well, I cannot believe it but we did it. We booked our trip to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro and take part in a safari through three of the most famous nature reserves in the world. I am so incredibly excited words can hardly convey the way I feel.

We received the confirmation email today and we have a bunch of documents to fill in. We still need to organize our flights and our travel insurance. We need to visit a travel medical clinic and find out what additional vaccinations we will need to receive prior to our trip. The dates for our trip are January 22 - Feb 5, 2011. We are also determining whether we can afford to spend an additional week somewhere over in Europe - likely Amsterdam - since we will have flown all the way over there. Devin is in the process of contemplating Egypt for the week following but my thoughts are that it would be best included in a future trip along with Greece and Italy when we can be less pressed for time.
